A children’s book project for Zenit run GmbH and Graubünden Trailrun where I was commissioned for the book illustrations. The book aspires to promote trail running for younger generations by combining a children’s story with practical trail running tips for the terrain.

Currently working on the final illustrations, this wonderful opportunity inspired me to dive into some amazing ideas for characters, colours and textures. I loved coming up with the character of Jori the little groundhog on a visual level, exploring compositions and interactions between him and all the animals he meets. The story is about young Jori who would love to be like all the other mountain animals: strong and powerful and fast. Until he realises that being a groundhog is just as wonderful.
