Hello!

Hi there! My name is Leah van der Ploeg and I am a passionate illustrator, graphic designer and creative mind!

With my creativity, I want to bring colourful and fun designs into the world. I want to tell visual stories that inspire you to be creative! I love working with colour palettes, shapes and expressions as well as graphic concepts and compositions.

I find a lot of inspiration and ideas in nature, while sketching or on my long runs in the mountains.

Because besides my creative passion I am also a trail runner who loves exploring the mountains. I am an avid coffee lover always searching for a new favourite ceramic mug. And you’ll often find me laughing out loud whilst listening to one or the other podcast!

4 month internship at MRB (Metzger Rottmann Bürge Partner AG, Zurich) as a graphic design intern
Preparatory Design Course (Propädeutikum), ZHdK, Zurich, Switzerland. Offical and required course in preparation for a bachelor’s degree in design.
Internship at an architect firm in Zurich, focussing on web design and branding. Skyline Development AG, Zurich, Switzerland. The main focus was designing a website for a new housing project.
