“A Rhythmical Sound - knock … knock … knock …” - In this visual essay I interviewed the Finnish weaver Anna Saarinen and illustrated her craft in three double pages you will find at the end. The discussion with her left me so inspired and I could not wait to sit down in my own studio to create the atmosphere she so vividly portrays whilst also sketching on site. Talking about setting up a business, finding her way back to her roots and her never ending collection of colours, Anna leaves us inspired to create.
